Monterey Bay Air Resources District General Fund Reserve Policy

Auditors’ District Financial Statements

On an annual basis, the District has an independent audit completed to conform to the audit requirements of the State and Federal Single Audit Act. The audits are conducted in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards and in accordance with audit and reporting guidelines as required by the State Controller’s office. District Budgets

The District’s Budget is prepared annually for submission to the Board of Directors. Prior to the final Public Hearing of the Board of Directors to consider adoption of the Budget, the Board’s Budget Committee reviews the draft Budget makes recommendations to the Board at the hearing on adoption or revisions thereto. The final Budget is scheduled for adoption on or before June 30 of each fiscal year.
